Utility desk. State Bank of India (SBI), the largest bank in the country, offers various types of services to its customers. One of these features is the SBI helpline, named as 'SBI Quick'. You can start SBI Quick's service via SMS or a missed call. With this feature, SBI customers can get information about account balance, mini statement along with education loan, application for check book, account balance for the previous 6 months, home loan and education loan interest certificate. SBI has added some features to this app, such as features like Bank Holiday Calendar.

With the help of these new features, customers can get information about Bank Holiday list based on their state. Under this feature will be a Holiday List based on all states, Union Territory and Circle.

The SBI recently tweeted about this. "With SBI Quick App, you can get information about bank holidays in your area," he wrote in a tweet. You can get all the information related to your bank with just one app.

You can download this SBI Quick App from the Play Store on Android, Windows, iOS and Blackberry. Once this app is installed on your phone you do not need an internet connection to use it. You can also communicate for this feature via SMS or missed call.

This is how to apply for a checkbook

For this you have to type 'CHQREQ' on 09223588888 number. You will then receive an SMS. In reply to this SMS you will have to type 6 digit number received from CHQACC Y SMS and send to 09223588888 within 2 hours.

Utility desk. The central government will make it mandatory to link water IDs with Aadhaar. The Law Ministry has accepted the suggestion made by the Election Commission. According to the ministry, a cabinet note is being prepared for this legislation. It will be presented to the Cabinet Committee headed by the Prime Minister.




Expect to introduce a note for legislation before the budget
According to the official, it has not yet been decided by the Law Ministry as to when they will present this note in front of the Cabinet, but indicated that it may be presented before or during this budget session. According to the report, the law ministry has approved this with some conditions. With the approval of the Law Ministry, the Election Commission may have the legal right to link the water ID with the Aadhar card.

The proposal was sent last year
The Election Commission had proposed this against the government in August last year. According to it, the Representation of the People Act 1950 was amended to give the people the right to seek support and use it in water ID.

Fake voters will be banned
According to the Election Commission, this will help identify fake voters. The amendment also stated that in the event of non-issuance of Aadhaar number, no one's name will be removed from the electoral rolls nor it will be barred from giving the enrollment.

SBI (State Bank of India) is providing facility for updating mobile number to its customers. There is no longer a need for customers to bank update for updating their mobile number. The mobile number can be updated right from the internet at home.

Process to update mobile number

• First, log into the account by going to SBI's official website www.onlinesbi.com.
• Then go to the section at the top left and go to My Accounts and Profile and drop down.
• Now click on profile and click on personal details / mobile.
• Now, submit the profile password and click on Submit.
• Now click on the mobile number, update the new details and click on the change mobile number domestic only.
• Then, submit a new number in the tab that opens.
• Then there will be 3 options for mobile number updates. In the first OTP option, OTP is sent to both new and old numbers.
• The second option is to send a request for a call through ATM to Internet Banking Request Approval and the third option is to call through the Contact Center.
• If you opt for OTP, you will have to select your debit / ATM card account in the bank and then submit the card details and captcha code and click on PROCEED.
• There will be a message show of the mobile number update.
• Both the new and old mobile numbers will be SMS, with the active number varying.
• You will need to copy the ACTIVATE and reference number written in both messages and SMS from both mobile numbers to 567676. Then your number will change.
• The bank must provide the correct mobile number and email id
• Providing the correct mobile number in the bank is required. Doing so may result in fraud of your bank account. OTP will not reach you for the transaction by not submitting the correct mobile number to the bank or using the mobile number provided in the bank, except the instructions provided by the bank.

OTP required to withdraw money from ATM
From January 1, SBI has launched OTP service for ATM transactions. It must be registered OTP for ATM transaction from 8am to 8pm within that night. This rule has been applied to transactions in excess of 10 thousand.

Reliance JIO launches new annual prepaid plan, cheap or cheaper than Airtel and Vodafone

An annual plan with daily data has been submitted by Reliance Jio. Previously the plan used to come in at Rs 2020, but has now been updated with Rs 2121. Compared to the old plan, the new plan is priced at Rs 101 and will cost 28 days as per the validity. Apart from Reliance Jio, Vodafone and Airtel also have prepaid plans available. Validity in the new plan has been reduced compared to the old plan.

Reliance jIO

The validity of Jio's Rs 2121 plan is 336 days. Which will get 1.5 GB of data per day. This plan provides a total of 504 GB data. In addition Jio to Jio Unlimited free calling, 12,000 minutes on other networks and 100 SMS per day. On a daily basis, this plan costs around Rs 6.31. If the recharge amount is calculated according to the validity of 28 days, the cost will be Rs 176.75.



Airtel

Airtel's plan is priced at Rs 2398 against Jio's Rs 2121 plan. You will get 1.5 GB of data per day, unlimited calling and 100 SMS per day. The validity of this plan is 365 days. Vodafone

Which plan is best?

If you have not yet linked your PAN (Permanent Account Number) card to Aadhaar, get it done. If you do not link the PAN with Aadhaar till 31st March, the Income Tax Department may impose a fine of Rs 10,000 on you. Earlier, according to the Income Tax Department, if a PAN card holder does not link PAN with Aadhaar by March 31, his PAN card will be declared inactive. However, the PAN will now be penalized for not keeping the PAN active under the Income Tax Act.

What is the provision

Under the rule, if your PAN becomes inactive and you use it in a bank transaction or elsewhere, it will be presumed that you have not provided a PAN under the law, in which case you may be fined Rs.10,000 under section 272B of income tax. Under section 139A of the Act, it is compulsory to show the page on demand. However, using a passive PAN to open a bank account or generate a driving license will not be penalized.

If you withdraw or deposit more than 50 thousand rupees from a bank account then you will have to show a PAN card. But the relief is that you do not need to apply for a new PAN card if your PAN becomes inactive. You can only link your old PAN to support. Your PAN will be automatically approved after linking.

The government is going to launch e-PAN card issuance facility on the basis of details of Aadhaar this month. According to Revenue Secretary Ajay Bhushan Pandey, upon entering the Aadhaar number in this online process, e-page will be issued after verification by OTP (One Time Password) on the registered mobile. The latest update to DiskDigger for Windows improves upon its general performance, as well as these specific enhancements:
Improved handling of compressed files in NTFS filesystems. When your disk is formatted with NTFS, individual files can be compressed (using a variation of LZ77) to conserve disk space. When scanning in "Dig Deep" mode, DiskDigger automatically and transparently decompresses these files, so that they can be recovered in their original state.
Improved handling of system-compressed files in NTFS.  Windows 10, as part of its background operation, searches for certain files that are seldom used and automatically compresses them. This is different from the "standard" compression that can be applied to NTFS files. This compression is done by creating an alternate data stream (with a reparse point) called "WofCompressedData" and filling it with the compressed data, which is compressed with the Xpress or LZX algorithms. DiskDigger handles all of these cases, and automatically recovers these types of files in uncompressed form.
Added support for recovering Quicken data files (.QDF) in "Dig Deeper" mode.
Improved efficiency of recovering executable (EXE and DLL) files.
Fixed some possible stability issues when previewing WAV audio files.
