CTET Exam Postponed: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has deferred the CTET July 2020 exam date due to COVID-19 pandemic. CBSE has stated that the 14th edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) which was scheduled to be held on 5th July has now been postponed. The CTET 2020 New Exam Date will be announced after Coronavirus situation improves. As of now, there is no update on the CTET Revised Exam Date. Check below the official notice of the CBSE regarding the CTET Exam postponement. Union Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has also tweeted regarding the postponement of the CTET Exam. CTET July Exam 2020 Postponed: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has postponed the CTET Examination 2020 on its official site. All such aspirants who have to appear for the Exam can check the notice for postponement of the exam on the official site of Central Board of Secondary Education @ www.ctet.nic.in.

According to the notification displaying on the Central Board of Secondary Education, the CBSE CTET Exam has been postponed. The short notice further displayed, “Central Eligibility Test (CTET) July 2020 has been postponed.”




Due to Corona, examinations in the country are being postponed or canceled continuously. In this order, the Central Teacher Eligibility Test to be held on July 5 has also been postponed till the next order. In a tweet, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said that in view of the current situation, it has been decided to postpone the #CTET examination conducted by #CBSE till July 5, 2020. The next date of the examination will be announced if the conditions are favorable.

The Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct the 14th edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on 05-07-2020 (Sunday). The test will be conducted in 20 (Twenty) languages in 112 cities all over the country. The detailed Information Bulletin containing details of examination, syllabus, languages, eligibility criteria, examination fee, examination cities and important dates is available on CTET official website www.ctet.nic.in w.e.f. 24-01-2020 and the aspiring candidates are requested to download the Information Bulletin from the above mentioned website only and read the same carefully before applying. The aspiring candidates have to apply online only through CTET website i.e. www.ctet.nic.in. The online application-process will start from
24.01.2020 and the last date for submitting online application will be 24.02.2020. The fee can be paid upto 27.02.2020 till 03.30 PM.

CBSE CTET Answer Key 2019 Released: Candidates can now download the CBSE CTET 2019 answer key from the official website. The answer key of CBSE CTET 2019 for the exam held on 8th December 2019 has been released. The CBSE CTET answer key to 2019 has been released on the official websites - ctet.nic.in. Candidates can access the same by logging in with their user Id and password. Alternatively, a direct link to the CBSE CTET Kerala 2019 answer key has also been provided on this page.

As per reports, more than 28 lakh students had appeared for the CBSE CTET exam 2019. The answer key of CBSE CTET2019 has been released in the online mode only. The official schedule mentions that the CTET 2019 result will be announced by the Board in about six weeks from the date of conducting the examination. The CTET 2019 result will be valid for seven years from the date of declaration of its result for qualifying candidates to be considered for appointment under all categories.

CTET Admit Card 2019 for December Exam will be available for download at the official website of CTET i.e. https://ctet.nic.in. CTET exam will be held on 8 December. According to the schedule of CTET 2019, CTET 2019 admit card is to come in the third week of November. CTET admit card will be on the official website ctet.nic.in. CBSE has clarified that at present, the seat admit card will not be issued on November 19.

The related date will be released soon through the official website. In order to download the CTET 2019 admit card through this website, the candidates have to enter the details that they had filled while registering. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Seat Admit Card will no longer be issued on 19th November i.e. today. CBSE has informed about this.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) December 2019 Short Notification



CTET December 2019 : सीबीएसई ने केंद्रीय शिक्षक पात्रता परीक्षा (सीटीईटी 2019) की तिथि घोषित कर दी है। सीबीएसई ने ऐलान किया है कि सीटीईटी के 13वें संस्करण का आयोजन 8 दिसंबर, 2019 को किया जाएगा। सीटीईटी दिसंबर 2019 की परीक्षा पूरे देश में 110 शहरों में 20 भाषाओं में आयोजित होगी। सीटीईटी दिसंबर परीक्षा 2019 ( CTET December 2019 Notification ) 19 अगस्त को जारी होगा। नोटिफिकेशन में परीक्षा की भाषा, योग्यता, सिलेबस, शुल्क, शहर समेत तमाम जानकारियां होंगी। सीटीईटी नोटिफिकेशन www.cbse.nic.in पर जारी होगा।

CTET December 2019 के लिए आवेदन की प्रक्रिया 19 अगस्त से शुरू होगी। ऑनलाइन आवेदन की अंतिम तिथि 30  सितंबर, 2019 तय की गई है। 3 OCTOBER, 2019 दोपहर 03.30 बजे तक फीस का भुगतान किया जा सकेगा।

ज्ञात हो कि सीबीएसई द्वारा वर्ष में दो बार (जुलाई एवं दिसंबर) सीटीईटी परीक्षा आयोजित की जाती है। 7 जुलाई को आयोजित हुई सीटीईटी परीक्षा का रिजल्ट 30 जुलाई को आया था। सीटेट जुलाई में 29 लाख 22 हजार अभ्यर्थियों ने रजिस्ट्रेशन करवाया था। इसमें 23 लाख 77 हजार अभ्यर्थी शामिल हुए थे। सीबीएसई की मानें तो पहली बार सीटीईटी का परिणाम मात्र 23 दिनों में जारी किया गया है। इनमें से 3.52 लाख अभ्यर्थी उत्तीर्ण हुए थे। परीक्षा 114 शहरों में हुई थी।

कक्षा 1 से 5 वीं कक्षा के लिए पेपर नंबर 1 और 6 से 8वीं कक्षा तक के लिए पेपर 2 का आयोजन होता है।

REVISED SCHEDULE FOR CTET-DECEMBER 2019 EXAMINATION


  • Submission of online application through CTET website www.ctet.nic.in ::: 19-08-2019 (Monday)
  • Last Date for submission of online application form :::: 30-09-2019 (Monday) upto 23.59 hrs
  • Last Date for submission of fee through E-Challan or Debit/Credit Card :::: 03-10-2019 (Thursday) before 15.30 hrs
  • Final verification of payment of fee by the candidates. ::: 03-10-2019 (Thursday)
  • Online corrections if any, in the particulars uploaded by the candidate :::  04-10-2019 (Friday) to 10-10-2019 (Thursday)


In case confirmation page is not generated after depositing the requisite fees, the candidate should approach the Joint Secretary (CTET), CBSE between 10:00 hrs to 17:00 hrs from 04-10-2019 (Friday) to 10-10-2019 (Thursday) along with proof of payment of fee i.e. candidate copy of EChallan, if payment made through E-Challan

  • Date of Examination :::: 08-12-2019 (Sunday)
  • Declaration of Result ::: Within 06 (six) Week from the date of conduct of the Examination.

Candidates of General category, who score 60 percent and above (minimum 90 marks out of 150) in the CTET exam, are declared as qualified. However, candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category need to secure at least 55 percent marks (82 out of 150) to qualify the CTET exam.

CTET Scorecard & CTET Certificate 2019

The CTET Scorecard includes total marks obtained by the candidate in the CTET exam as well as the marks secured by them in each subject separately. Qualified candidates are awarded with CTET Certificate which is valid for duration of seven years from the date of CTET Result declaration.

All the candidates who appeared in CTET(JULY), 2019 held on 07/07/2019 are informed that the scanned images of OMR answer sheets of the candidates & answer keys will be uploaded on the website www.ctet.nic.in from 24/07/2019 to 26/07/2019 (till 11:59PM).
There is a provision for the candidates to challenge the answer keys through the link available on the website www.ctet.nic.in from 24/07/2019 to 26/07/2019 (till 11:59PM). A fee of Rs.1000/- per question will be required to be submitted through credit/debit card. The fee once paid is non-refundable.

Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V: Primary Stage

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year
of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)

Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII: Elementary Stage

Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by
whatever name known).
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education
(B.Ed).
OR
Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education
(B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from
time to time in this regard.
