To inculcate a spirit of oneness, spirit of competition, fair play and co-operation, sense of belonging to the school and leadership qualities among the students, school follows House System. 

All the students are divided into several Houses. These Houses compete in different sporting, cultural and academic events and at the end of the academic session best house is awarded with the ´Best House Trophy´ Clubs : To nurture the hidden talent of the tribal children various clubs are formed like Science / IT club, Horticulture / Nursery, Dance / Drama, Photography, Mehndi / Rangoli,

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the result of standard 12 on Monday afternoon. Students awaiting their results will now be able to view their results on the official website cbse.nic.in. Apart from this students can also check their result through Umang app. The board did not provide any information before announcing the official result. The result was announced on May 2 last year. However, the announcement of the result has been delayed due to the lockdown given by Corona this year.

Result until July 15 after court decision
Following the Supreme Court decision, the CBSE has canceled the remaining 10th and 12th standard examinations from July 1 to 15 and decided to release the results on the basis of the assessment scheme. Hearing the board exams, the apex court had directed that the results of 10th and 12th standard be declared by July 15. The CBSE board has since stepped up their preparations.

The result was in the month of May in the year 2019. 98.54% of standard 10 and 96.52% of 12 students passed. From February 4 to March 25, 2.5 lakh people participated in the standard 10-12 examination. In standard 12, Kolkata's Dewang Kumar Agarwal and Bengaluru's Vibha Swaminathan topped. In the 10th, Mumbai's Juhi Rupesh Kajaria and Muftar Manhar Bansal bagged the first position with 99.60%.

• On Thursday, CBSE decided to cancel the remaining papers of Std.10 and Std.12 due to increasing cases of Corona.
• ICSE also decided to cancel the Std.10 and Std.12 board exams, but it does not want to give students the option of giving papers later.

New Delhi. A hearing was held in the Supreme Court on Friday regarding the remaining examinations of Std.10 and Std.12 of ICSE and CBSE boards. A three-judge bench headed by Justice AM Khanwilkar asked the Center and the CBSE to issue a notification to cancel the examination. He also said that move towards giving marks to the students on the basis of assessment.



A three-judge bench comprising Justices AM Khanwilkar, Dinesh Maheshwari and Sanjeev Khanna also disposed of each case pending in another court.

Results By July 15, optional exams depend on children
ICSE and CBSE told the court that the results of Std.10 and Std.12 would be released by July 15. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta from CBSE and Central Government was present in the court. He said that the assessment scheme would be based on the marks of the three previous examinations of the student.

The CBSE board told the apex court that alternative examinations would be conducted by the CBSE to improve the performance of the students if they wished. The result of those students will also be declared along with the result of other students.

ICSE said- our and CBSE's affidavit is the same

Regarding the rest of the ICSE exams, the board told the court that we can also give the option to students of Std. 10 to take the exam later. The board also said that the 'average mark' formula is different from CBSE. "I have read the CBSE affidavit and ours is the same," said Jaideep Gupta, counsel for the board.

On Thursday, the draft to cancel the exam was presented
The CBSE had decided to cancel the remaining papers in Std.10 and Std.12 examinations due to increasing cases of Corona transition. During a hearing in the Supreme Court on Thursday, the board told the government that now Std. 12 students will be assessed on the basis of their three exams. Later they will also be able to give the paper.

Key 7 points of the draft given to the Supreme Court by the CBSE Board

1. All the examinations of Std.10 and Std.12 students scheduled between 1st to 15th July have been canceled.
2. After the cancellation of the examination, the result of Std.10 and Std.12 will be released on the basis of the assessment scheme shown by the Competent Committee of CBSE.
3. The result prepared by the assessment scheme will be declared by 15th July 2020, on the basis of which students will be able to apply for admission in higher educational institutions at home and abroad.
4. Optional examination will also be organized for the students to take the paper between 1st to 15th July after the conditions become normal. Students who are not happy with the result of the assessment scheme can participate in this examination. In this case, the marks obtained in the optional examination will be considered as final.
5. No other examination will be held for standard 10 students. Their result will be decided on the basis of CBSE assessment scheme.
6. Std. If the students of class 12 do not appear in the optional examination, their result will also be deducted based on the marking scheme of CBSE.
7. New Assessment Scheme of CBSE:
(a) Students of Std.10 and Std.12 who have completed all their examinations, their result will be declared on the basis of their performance.
(b) Out of all the students who have given papers in more than three subjects in the examination, the marks of the best performing subjects in three subjects will be given in the subject for which the examination is pending.

(c) For students who have appeared in only three papers, marks will be given in the remaining subject keeping in view the good performance of two subjects.

Index Funds. Index funds, on the other hand, are not actively managed, as they simply seek to replicate holdings in an index like the S&P 500.

What are Mutual Funds
Mutual fund is a financial instrument which pools the money of different people and invests them in different financial securities like stocks, bonds etc. Each investor in a mutual fund scheme owns units of the fund, which represents a portion of the holdings of the scheme. The securities are selected keeping in mind the investment objective of the scheme. Mutual funds are managed by asset management companies (AMCs). AMCs appoint fund managers to manage different mutual fund schemes and ensure that the scheme investment objectives are met. For fund management and other services provided by AMCs, a fee is charged to the investors.

Risk Diversification: One of the biggest advantages of mutual funds is risk diversification. Every stock is subject to three types of risk – company risk, sector risk and market risk. Company risk and sector risk are unsystematic risk, while market risk is known as systematic risk. Mutual funds help investors diversify unsystematic risks by investing in a diversified portfolio of stocks across different sectors. Hence mutual fund risk is much lower than individual stocks.

Types of Mutual Funds
Mutual funds types are broadly classified on the basis of - investment objective, structure, and nature of the schemes. When classified according to the investment objective, mutual funds can be of 7 types - equity or growth funds, fixed income funds or debt funds, tax saving funds, money market or liquid funds, balanced funds, gilt funds, and exchange-traded funds (ETFs).

Based on the structure, mutual funds can be of 2 types - close-ended and open-ended schemes. When mutual funds are classified on the basis of nature, they can be of 3 types - equity, debt, and balanced. There is an overlap in the classification of some schemes like equity growth funds which can fall under classification based on investment objective as well as classification based on nature.



We have explained some of the types of mutual funds, below:

Growth or Equity Schemes - These funds invest in equity shares and the investment objective is capital gains over medium or long-term. They are associated with high risks as they are linked to the highly volatile stock markets but over long term, they offer good returns. Hence, investors having a high appetite for risk find these schemes to be an ideal investment option. Growth funds can further be classified into diversified, sector, and index funds.
