The number of new cases is constantly increasing in Maharashtra, Mumbai and Ahmedabad in Gujarat
The National Desk. Corona vice is growing rapidly in India. In view of the increasing number of corona infections in the country, the lockdown limit has also been extended till May 3. Maharashtra has the highest number of new cases in the country and Gujarat. At present, the number of coronas-positive patients in the country is 10,760. Mumbai has been declared a hotspot in Maharashtra while Ahmedabad has been declared a hotspot in Gujarat. Maharashtra has the highest number of patients in the country, while Gujarat ranks fifth in the number of patients and fourth in the death toll. Although no deaths have been recorded in Gujarat today, so far 28 deaths have been recorded.
Gujarat today has increased the number of coronary-positive patients to 617 from 45 patients. The condition of 55 of those patients is on improvement. Maharashtra has the highest number of patients with 2,455 reported. Maharashtra has the highest number of 1,540 in Mumbai. While Gujarat has the highest number of patients, 351 have been registered in Ahmedabad. Delhi ranks second in the number of patients in the country, Tamil Nadu third and Rajasthan fourth.
So far 361 people have been killed due to corona virus in the country. Maharashtra has the highest number of deaths in the country of 160 people. Then the highest death toll was recorded at 50 in Madhya Pradesh, 28 in Delhi. In comparison to the death toll, Gujarat is ranked fourth in the country. So far 26 people have been killed in Gujarat. However, the death toll is not too far between Gujarat and Delhi. So soon Gujarat will not be surprised if the death toll falls to third.
1996 tests were done in Gujarat in the last 24 hours
Giving details of Corona's update, Health Principal Secretary Jayanti Ravi said that there were 45 new cases registered in the state. Of these, 31 cases have been registered in Ahmedabad, 9 in Surat, 2 in Mehsana and 1-1 in Bhavnagar, Gandhinagar and Dahod. In the last 24 hours, there have been 1996 tests in the state, of which 79 have been positive and 1917 have been negative tests. It is worth mentioning that five new cases have been registered in Vadodara, though it has not been mentioned in the press conference of Health Secretary, but the Vadodara collector has stated that five new cases have been registered.
