National Testing Agency (NTA) Exam Dates For 2019-2020
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the schedule of Examinations to be conducted by it during December 2019 to June 2020. The list of examinations include IIFT MBA Admission Test-2020, UGC-NET-December 2019, UGC-NET-June 2020, CSIR-UGC NET-December 2019, CSIR-UGC NET-June 2020, JEE Main January-2020, JEE Main April-2020, CMAT 2020, GPAT 2020, AIAPGET-2020, NEET UG-2020 among many others.
NTA or National Testing Agency is an autonomous body set up by the Ministry of Human Resource Department (MHRD) to conduct entrance exams for admissions to higher educational institutes in India. Vineet Joshi is the CEO and Director-General of the agency appointed by the government. He is assisted by 9 verticals of academicians and experts.
Approved by the Union Council of Ministers, this premier, specialist and a self-sustained testing organization are conducting the following exams from the year 2019:
JEE Main
- There is no age limit for aspirants seeking to appear for JEE Main
- Only those candidates who have passed their Class 12th Examination or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2017 or 2018 will be eligible to appear for JEE Main 2020
- Candidates must have taken at least five subjects in class 12th/qualifying examination in order to be eligible for writing JEE Main 2020 (Paper 1) which includes: Language, Physics, Mathematics, any one of (Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subject) and any other subject.

NEET UG
Aspirants must have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete the required age on or before Dec 31 of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year MBBS/BDS Course.
The number of attempts which an aspirant can avail will be limited to 3 (three) uniformly to all the candidates. Appearance in NEET-2020 will be counted as first attempt.
DU JAT
- Aspirants who have passed their senior secondary from CBSE or any other recognised board
- Aspirants who have appeared in their final exams and their results are awaited can also apply for DU JAT
- Candidates must have secured 60% (55% for SC/ST/CW/PwD and 54% for OBC (Non-Creamy) categories) in class 12 examination.
- The aggregate should be based on the marks in four papers – English, Mathematics and any other two subjects provided by the Delhi University
- Candidates must have passed in all the four subjects (English, Mathematics and any other two subjects provided by the Delhi University)
- Those belonging to OBC-non creamy layer/SC/ST/PwD/CW categories should carry a category certificate at the time of admission
DUET
- BTech courses - Candidates must have passed Class 12 with 60% marks in aggregate in four subjects which must include Mathematics as compulsory subject.
- BA Hons Humanities and Social Sciences - Candidates must have secured at least 60% marks in four subjects in Class 12.
- BA Hons Multimedia and Mass Communication - Candidates must have passed class 12 or equivalent examination with 75% marks in four subjects. They must have secured 85% in English. Candidates can include Mass Media Studies as an academic subject among best four subjects.
